Great action shot for your kids but people in back ground are distracting looks like they r playing in the backyard if u have a high end camera set f stop to 2.8 to 4

I think what he means...is if you have a high end camera..with a HIGH END LENS... set your aperture to 2.8 or 4... HOWEVER... if you are quite a bit of a distance away from the subject... the background being that close...still isn't going to blur as much as it would...if you were much closer to the players... with the background much further away... I shoot everything just about on 2.8...unless its group shots... so that is my favorite..you can see samples at www.morethananimage.com if you are interested!
