To answer your question, this was actually by chance. I was in the middle of the street on a small road island with double decker London Transports nearly killing me. I took over thirty shots and nailed this one.

It's a very nice image... although it seems to me it's more about the phone booths than the weather.

I like how we all see photographs differently. I think this is cool and would hang it on my wall. Yea the color selection thing is getting played out by us photographers I've done it a bunch too and I probably would have left it all B&W. But the essence of what I feel looking at this image is mostly the guy looking back checking her out- because we know we all do it don't we guys! Well done and best wishes.
