I apologize to whomever thinks that I cheated. I have not logged into the website since I left work last night at 7pm and this is the first I have log on since then. So if someone voted for me that many times, It was without my knowledge. The last time I looked at the site there where 3 other photos in front of mine. I dont condone cheating and I am sorry someone did that. All of the critiques I have gotten on this image have all been positive and I thought my image spoke for itself and that I had a good group of people voting for me. I know there are a select few people who will not believe me and I am sorry to hear that my credability is in queastion. If I am not selected as the best photo in this category I am ok with that. I am here to get advice from fellow Photographers on how to improve my work, This is not a high school popularity contest. I again thank those who voted for me and I am a little saddened that someone ruined it, but you cant control other people. Thank you

Oh please! If you need to write a 500 word essay trying to convince people that you didn't cheat- obviously you did. You're so full of it! You voted yourself to the top and denied REAL photographers the right to be recognized for their true talent. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about your pic. I've seen hundreds like it before- night shots of bridges with lighting reflecting off the water. Why don't you try shooting something original? You obviously voted yourself to the top, and i'm not the first to recognize that. If you were a true photographer with real talent, you'd also have a much more artistic self portrait. Loser.

Brittany, I apologize to you. I voted for this photo to get it above the floating head photo that kept voting its way to the top. It was a crappy photo, and did not deserve to be at top. I notice that its been deleted since I last logged in. I love this image and think it will be the winner. I'm sorry you were accused of cheating.

Brittany, ignore the people accusing you of cheating. You have a beautiful photo here, one that made it to the top with real votes. Take a look at all the comments. I know I personally voted for this photo a number of times. So please ignore them all and know you have talent and skills. Other talented photographers have stated they too, love your photo. One even saying she wants a print. I have feeling, the real cheaters are the ones that do the most crying and screaming about cheating. They are nothing but school yard bullies and need not be paid attention too.

I first off wanted to say thank you to cassie for saying she voted me up to beat the floating head picture. I think that takes alot to admit something no one else wants to so thank you. @nd to lisalisa I am sorry to read that you think that what I wrote was insincere. It's not that i tried to convince anyone anything I just type alot. look at my thank you I left for the people who voted for me it's just as long. I didnt vote myself to the top but I dont need to verify that to u because alot of people did like my photo. I am also sorry that you think I am unoriginal with my work. I love pittsburgh if you look at most of my pictures on my profile they are of Pittsburgh it's the one thing I love to photograph sorry it offends u. As to my profile picture I dont need to be creative it''s a picture of me what more do you want. I have a self portrait on my profile thats creative it's just not my main image, get over it. I lso ish to say again to the people that voted even if it was to get rid of the floating head picture Thank you.

I see I'm not the only one. Brittany, don't worry about the ones doing the accusing. You have a beautiful photo and I believe it will be the winner. Cassie, thank you. You also apologized to me and I appreciate it. I've done and said everything that I am going to say to defend myself and my work. I don't need to cheat and neither does Brittany nor do we really need to defend ourselves.

Folks, vote-stuffing is not cheating, its allowed. VH1 could block it entirely with a simple line of code, but they dont. And while you can be eliminated for breaking the Official Rules, the line about one-vote-per-day is not in the Official Rules. Its in the FAQs. What follows is a fast and effective way to vote-stuff, but there may be better ways. First, create a Critic account with a fake email address and a very simple password. A good password is five quote-marks in a row, since the quote-mark key is right next to the Enter key on your keyboard. Login to your new account, being sure to Copy your email address so you can Paste it later. Go to your photo of choice and repeat the following over and over -Step 1 Click on VOTE NOW.-Step 2 Click on LOGOUT.-Step 3 Click on your browsers back-arrow.-Step 4 Click on LOGIN.-Step 5 Paste your email in the email field.-Step 6 Type in your password, and then hit your Enter key.-Return to Step 1.Sometimes youll be thwarted by pop-up ads, but simply click on your back-arrow and then forward-arrow to avert them. If youre quick you can crank out 5 votes per minute, close to 300 an hour. Realize that Critic profiles show their last 12 votes. So when finished voting for your photo, vote for 12 of the other photos in the contest to keep your competition from finding your trail and viciously pouncing on you. This is crazy, but this is whats happening at the Top5 level of this competition. Ive out paced several of the Top5 regulars using this method in click-sprints against each of them. So if you have a great photo, be prepared to do a lot of clicking to reach and remain in the Top5. Then be prepared for really nasty critiques and verbal abuse from stealth critics, who are actually your competitors and their friends in disguise. And have a sense of humor when you see contestants fain ignorance about all the votes they receive and act humbled by all the attention. These contestants are the real masters of the game. If attention is what you crave, welcome to the rat race!
