to be high fashion u dont necessarily need to have clothing on!! This is definetly high fashion in my eyes! love it..its beautiful!!!!

For those who believe that this may not be a fashion shot is completely wrong. Fashion is just not about clothe, accessories, or any of that sort. It is an idea a lifestyle and the way something is carried about. It also can be about the hair or even make-up. So those who think fashion is clothing do not understand what fashion and what fashion photography is about. Remember it is not the fact that someone is wearing Gucci or Prada, but how they wear it. And judging by some of the images that a few are making about this not being a Fashion image, they had some images that are mere amateur. The lighting, poses, and even facial expressions are at a State Fair level.

I'm glad at least Russell knows what a fashion photo is. Anyway the last week's competition is beauty... you should really enter this when the time comes.

I think that you should enter this into the beauty contest. If it doesn't give you the ability to vote under beauty try abstract that's what I had to use to enter the contest. I just think this is a great shot and should be in the contest.

What a technical error on the part of the web site- I had a ton of people waiting to vote on this and a few other shots but there was no vote box on the picture pages. So now have to change the category to get it to work is redicules. I'll pass this on to the other photographers because I know they are waiting to get their photos to work for voting. I'm sorry unlike everyone else I have nothing but good to say about this photo. I think you really caught the emotion of the photo. I like the diamonds making a tear trail down her face and the look on her face grasps that perfectly
