I seriously cant tell you if they are distracting or not. I'm torn on it, so i could go either way. The cats eyes are so striking its hard to look at anything else.. i just saw them and wondered what they were. i also think sometimes that certain mishaps bring character to pictures.

great formal cat portrait... have four cats and it is very hard to get a good shot, especally one like this, very formal looking. The eyes do make this shot. Also, would crop the shot very close to create a different image, fill the photo with cat face.
