Hey thanks for the comment and the invite to check out your work.. I dig this one.. I like the way the background almost overtakes the photo, but how the green eyes of the cat bring it back. It's really cool. If I can find the slide, I want to enter one of my cats in the animal contest. He is a long haired white cat and I took the photo as he was sitting atop my light table. The room was dark ecept for the light that the light table was casting, and thus the cat is really the only thing iluminated from below. It's pretty cool.. BUt not sure I can find it and scan it intime.. At anyrate.. Very cool photo, I will cast some votes for you in the animal contest. Thanks for the invite. Peace, JIM

now this is absolutely fantastic!!! i love the vivid eyes and all the bright white light. well done. this has my vote.and to answer your ?...my real name is mandy davis-however my 'photo' name is mandolin. However, i don't play the mandolin but it is a beautiful and that is where why i finally decided to go with spelling my name 'mandolin' as opposed to mandeline. i love music in all forms! My insturment of choice is the piano. u should take some photos of your man's mandolin! that would be awesome!

the lines are from the barn that was the background.... it was an old white barn not a white backdrop... thanks for the votes and critiques!!!
