ahh you people kill me... There is nothing interesting in this picture... no moment captured... and as a still life..it is awful... BECAUSE... there is NO depth of field... its very bland.. and what is suppose to be the subject..is the skateboard... but my eye goes straight to the middle of the picture... with the dark baseboard way at the back.... pop the contrast.. play with it in photoshop ...if you have photoshop... turn it to black and white... do some funky extreme contrast to it... anything other than this... why spend or waste time voting when you KNOW it isn't going to win even if it is in the top 5... Seriously..Come on people... this contest stopped being fun a LONG time ago.. .ugh

Obviously you people are a little angry and you need to spend more time on your photography and less time worrying about others. No I have NOT been voting for myself, in fact I was surprised when this image was winning. Maybe a lot of people can relate to it. When you say this photo has 0 going for it, I think you are wrong and you need to get a life and some good photography to look at.

Tell Tony Hawk that skateboarding is not a sport, or maybe what they do at the X-Games is not a sport! Sport shots do not have to include action. Check out the B&W pic of the little league group in the dugout in this contest. DUH!!! Clue, LOOK AT THE FLOOR! Do you get it now?

I did NOT say skateboarding was not a sport!!! What I said was this image does not say SPORTS. I get that sport images do not have to have movement to them, check out her other image with the person on the tennis court, I like that and it fits the classification of SPORTS, this image would hold it's own in STILL LIFE. Why do people seem to get so mean spirited in this contest?
