I find this image very moving, in an edgy unknown way...

Sorry, but I find this lobster hair-do STUPID. I find no artistic value in it it leaves me puzzled as to why anyone would have a lobster in their hair. Uggg!

I don't get it either. I'd choke myself too if I had a lobster on my head!!

To alfredmosley Thank you for your comments. They are very helpful to me. Since you make a genuine effort and take the time to critique, I was wondering if you would do me the favor of telling me your comments on a more conventional fashion shot that I have on my port. The link is http//www.theshotspot.com/photos/view/21976 Thank again for the constructive critiques!

I totally agree with alfredmosley and I'm glad you took it well. I would like to add that ... the selective focus effect you introduced here is not something you see in fashion photography. If I was in your shoes I would probably shoot this again, maybe move her way from the background, move in closer and make sure your model puts some personality into it ... it's a lobster hat .... right? Also ... the strong shadow on the left eye is very distracting to me. I rather see that cool makeup Evy provided for you. Good luck with your next project. Regards, Sorin C. www.sorinphoto.com

I do love this. It all fits so well together, like you are in a crazy dream. It makes me wonder where this lady is and if I can go there too.

i think ii would of liked her more in the bottom right corner positioned like that, to lead the eyes more into the middle of the frame, and not out.granted out the left side is always the best side, have to then look across the whole thing again to move on.and maybe shot a tad bit up, not showing as much of the shirt, or then again, perhaps a tiny bit less top, less white to make her face more the anchoring draw of the eye.im im partial on what to change on this one to make it better, but that is what pushes us all the best.
